Note that Jackie lives and works in California, but as a federally-licensed Enrolled Agent she is not restricted to practice only in California! While attorneys and CPAs are limited in their practices by the state licenses they hold, the federally-licensed Enrolled Agent can assist taxpayers almost anywhere the taxpayer might live on planet earth!

Jackie also is a member of the NAEA (National Association of Enrolled Agents) and as an Enrolled Agent is privileged to be called "a tax expert" by the IRS itself (not so for attorneys or CPAs) simply because she is a specialist in federal taxation. Before she became an EA she was required to prove her abilities and skills first by being tested (3 four-hour long IRS federal tax knowlege and ethics exams called the SEE), then passing a thorough federal background check AND by matching and even surpassing the federal regulations requiring taxation- specific continuing professional education (CPE) each and every year!

Jackie and I are just two of the approximately 42,000 federally-licensed and practicing Enrolled Agents on the planet. Some work overseas in various nations having American taxpayers working there, others work for tax attorneys and/or law offices, others work for franchised tax preparation firms and/or CPAs and some are independent practice Enrolled Agents. Myself, I meet the definition of the latter, and my specialties include public safety officers, DOT employees (most of whom are over-the-road truckers) and construction operations owner/operators in particular. I am more or less also a "basics-generalist" in my practice and help almost anyone (except for intentional tax cheats) having administrative issues with the IRS Administrative Divisions (i.e.: Examinations (audits), Collections (ACS) and IRS Appeals).
