YOUR ONLY REAL FUTURE DEPENDS 100% ON YOUR OWN SELF-RELIANCE IDEAS AND APPLICATIONS

For most workers on "Main Street USA" the days of having any reasonable reliance on an employer, the government and an improved economy are "spent" and will not likely come back for decades, if ever.   Employers continue thinning the ranks of their productive workers and laying off and letting go of the "lack-luster" employees by the millions.   Pension plans will not support the life style of most Americans as the numbers of firms filing bankruptcy continues to grow and the value of the Federal Reserve "greenback" fiat money continues to fall in value, and even federal employees' pension plans remain unfunded as well.   Most of the states today are defaulting or on the very brink of doing so on their bonds and loans, and even Social Security and Medicare are already paying out more than the government is taking in.   The "social safety net" is failing, falling apart and all vestiges of it are in a soon-to-fail and default on the promises to millions of seniors and disabled individuals and their dependents...so no help there either, at least not anymore in 2012 or 2013 nor in the foreseeable future.

However, before "you drink the poison kool-aid" I suggest that you first remember that your ancestors in past centuries got by without our modern conveniences (and our national debt).   They raised families, started businesses and made do with earning the essentials of life without employer-financed pensions, Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid, without government support of any kind (except, of course, some military efforts), and even without paper money or credit cards.   They accomplished survival on the basis of their own self-reliance and through the unity of family and church.   Neighbors helped each other, raised barns for each others' livestock, built roads, bridges, school houses, general stores, barber shops, etc. and did it by the sweat of their own brow and the bowing of their own backs in labor and learned skills.

Self reliance comes from recognizing a need (not a want) and finding legitimate ways to achive what was needed to meet the basic requirements of the family, the individual and their communities.     Those who would not work, simply died from exposure to the elements, starvation or by being hanged for murder and robbery of their fellow man.   We are returning to those days far more rapidly than most Americans could ever dream of seeing it ever before.

As the individual will have to develop their own self-reliance (not self-esteem built upon "feel good" social instruction or chemistry) America will have a few who will prosper while most will simply survive.   If you would prosper, get right with God, support the survival of your family, learn a skill that you can build your own business upon, stock up on life-sustaining commodities and pray constantly.   And it wouldn't hurt teither to stock up on some "survival silver" right now while there is still some that is both available and affordable today.
